RING TONES

Ring Tones is a drama devised by the group, set at the beginning of the new millennium. TALKS
Devised by the group, Directed by Ross Harvie

Using the play by Robin Soans, ‘Talking to Terrorists’ as a stimulus to work with real life interviews and create a piece of verbatim theatre, the Pro-teens take on their biggest challenge to date in a devised piece that questions the importance of resolving terrorism not with violence or conflict, but with negotiations and peaceful discussions.

TWISTING RHYMES
Directed by Katherine Elliott
Based on Roald Dahl’s ‘Revolting Rhymes’

“I guess you think you know this story. You Don’t. The Real one’s much more gory…”
Will the Little Pigs manage to stay in their house or will they be made into pigskin handbags…? Will the wolf manage to eat Grandma or will he end up as Little Red Riding Hood’s new winter coat?
Join the Pro-Pellers as they perform a selection of Roald Dahl’s twisted re-workings of classic fairy tales from his book ‘Revolting Rhymes’. As well as performing these classic stories the group will also be performing their own stories created during their weekly devising workshops.
