phenomenal six piece Latin rock explosion continues to amaze fans wherever they

James Lisney sustains a distinguished
international career that takes him to many of the world`s leading venues,
including the Berlin Philharmonie, the Leipzig Gewandhaus, Amsterdam`s
Concertgebouw and Carnegie Hall in New York.
James entered Queen Mary’s College in
1978 (the year that Central Studio was opened) and is presenting a Masterwork
Series in this special venue including some of the most important piano works

Beethoven`s perennially favourite
piano sonata quasi una fantasia highlights the themes of fantasy and the
night that will be present through the three programmes of Masterworks.
Chopin`s radical and disturbing Sonata and the late Nocturnes provide a fitting
tribute at the close of the composer`s bicentennial year.
James Lisney is joined by two of the
country’s leading chamber musicians for a performance of Schubert`s Trio in E
flat (the slow movement made famous by the film ‘Barry Lyndon’), one of the
most exhilarating and powerful of chamber works.

most promising instrumentalists (she was featured on Carlton Television aged

Licentiate Diplomas aged fourteen, this will be a part of a week that will
start with a performance of Tchaikovsky`s Rococo Variations at the Basingstoke
Anvil.
